WORLD VISION 2009, 30HOURS FAMINE (PART 8)

Venue: Persatuan Agama Chih Hui Tang
Time: 2pm-3pm

20 more days to 30hours Famine. The committees are getting more and more busy and nervous. Next following few weeks got to be very busy with our own works and Zai Zai is coming to Malaysia on 9th August. So, everyone are busy with lots of thing. We tried to get things done a.s.a.p.

Today, me, Jacinta and Stacy went to have a look at the venue for our D.I.Y Camp. We went there with mixture of feelings and lots of questions in mind. We knew it was a temple but yet we were thinking, how the venue gonna look like? Why they are so kind to us? What should we do to repay them?

Thanks to Stacy boyfriend for fetching us to the venue and we got to memorise the journey to the venue too.

Reached there about 2pm+. And this is how the entrance of the venue look like..."Persatuan Agama Chih Hui Tang". so big....

This is how its look like...sorry i forgotten to take the pics of inner part...

Met with the in charge person, Ms. Vivian...a very young girl and we proceed with some discussion...God is good...finally we manage to settle our projector issues. They willing to lend us the projector but they welcome us to give back any amount of contribution. Overall, the venue is clean, come with tables, chairs, a small stage, whiteboard, build in projector, toilets and hot water dispenser. With the hot water dispenser, our problems on how many termos and kettle need to bring also settle. Thanks GOD.

In return, we promised to do some community service. We will help them to cleanup the selected area in the temple like sweaping the floor, mop the floor and etc...

After being rejected, ignored and even scolded by some cold hearted ppl, till now we can't believe that they are still some kind ppl on this earth. Thanks GOD again...

Then, we proceed to a wholesales store to checkout the Mineral Water and Soya bean prices.

Venue: Wholesales store
Time: 3.30pm-4.30pm

The prices of the drinks are so cheap...we able to save nearly RM2-3 for a packet of 2liter Soya Bean and RM1.40 for a bottle of Mineral Water. now everything is about saving the registration $ paid by campers and balance we may donate it back to the Famine Fund.

Another problem that occur now is how to deliver those drins to the venue place on 15th? Let's sort it tmrw during the program planning with Jacinta, Amanda and Stacy. Sook Yee couldn't make it for tmrw meeting.
