30HOURS FAMINE [JOIN US FAST fr FOOD & RAISE FUNDS]

VIFC(Van Ness Wu International Fan Club)-ONE LOVE is partnering with World Vision,Malaysia to host a DIY 30-Hour Famine on 22 August 2008 starting at 12pm till the next day 6pm.

Why are we doing this?
Over 1 billion children are living in extreme poverty. They have no access to food, clean water, shelter, medication and education. The 30-Hour Famine is a tangible way for us to help these children and tell them that Malaysians care for them.

How does it work?
24 Hours + 6 Hours =30-Hour Famine
• For 24 hours, we fast and learn about global poverty issues through games, activities and videos.
• The last 6 hours are spent at a star-studded Famine Countdown event at the Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, where we break fast together with thousands of DIY Famine Campers from every corner of the country!

How can I get involved?

• Donate: Individual donations and corporate sponsorships are welcome.
• Volunteer: Help make our DIY 30-Hour Famine a reality

The girls from Malaysia have sign up as one of the CAMP for this year 30hours Famine organized by World Vision. (The 30-hour Famine is a global movement against hunger and poverty. Participants go without food for 30hours and get a glimpse of the dire conditions that children and families in need endure everyday.)
大马区V迷已报名参与由世界宣明会举办的饥饿30DIY迷你营。
关于饥饿营
饥饿30是世界宣明会为对抗饥饿和贫穷而定期举办的全球性活动。营友们在30小时里仅以清水果腹，藉此体验饥饿，感受世上不幸的族群每天都必须经历的煎熬，同时向公众宣扬有关讯息和理念、筹募善款，为海内外正在挨饿的儿童和家庭点燃希望的火苗。

To all the VIFC members, V/F4 fans and AnD members out there that interested to join the rest of us here, you may do so now. (We encourage everyone from MALAYSIA to join this event). You may also invite your family members, relatives, friends, colleagues, etc to join us. Each participants that successfully completed the 30hours will be given a certificate.
